You can't ask for a better doctor. He really cares for his patients. Great bed manners. But best of all, he listens to your heart problems and explains everything so you can understand your condition better. Not many doctors do. God bless him.

Great new patient experience, he took tons of notes and seemed very presant for my appointment, did not feel rushed at all. I'm happy with my Dr's choice.

Dr. Ledbetter has been my cardiologist for over 10 years. I would definitely recommend him. Most importantly, he knows his stuff, is proactive, and thorough. He’s friendly and easy to talk to, and takes as much time with me as needed. Dr Ledbetter is an excellent cardiologist. I’ve been seeing him for two years after changing from my first cardiologist due to a change in insurance (went on Medicare). When I first became his patient I worried he wouldn’t be as helpful because I was coming from another doctor. At my initial appointment with him, he relieved all of my concerns. At that first appointment, he explained to me his philosophy of putting his patients’ needs to the forefront. In the interests of performing life-saving surgery, he might be late to an office appointment. That is exactly the attitude I want my doctor to have, so when I need him, he will be there for me. Dr Ledbetter takes the time to listen to me, and provides detailed answers to any questions I may have. Recently he even drew me an example, in order to make sure I completely understood. Went to visit Dr Ledbetter as a follow up to shortness of breath expecting to get a stress test. After he reviewed my files, he prioritized to look at my liver enzymes first. Talked to me about seeing a specialist. Took time with me to discuss my issues and even reached out to the specialist to compare notes. He is up front and suggested treatment as if I was family. I know my time with him was longer than a typical appt.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr Ledbetter for 9 years. His staff is friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. We find Dr Ledbetter to be extremely knowledgeable in his field. He answers all questions to our satisfaction. The only downside is waiting time.

Dr. Ledbetter has been my mother's cardiologist and my husband's also. Very happy with his personal caring of his patients and those who are responsible for the patient's care outside the office. Would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a wonderful cardiologist.

The Dr was very nice . I saw him at Trinity and had planned to see him at his office. When I called his office thr girl was very rude. She said I had to pay $300 before I could make an appointment. I told her to make the appointment and I would pay thrn and she screamed at me and said no.

I highly recommend Dr. Ledbetter and his Associates. Dr. Ledbetter took his time with me during my visits, explaining everything in detail. He recognized my nervousness and alleviated my concerns. Everyone that works in this office is friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. Dr. Ledbetter's two associates, Sarah and Meredith went out of their way to make me comfortable and the two gentleman that perform the stress tests are phenomenal explaining everything that was taking place. If you're looking for a cardiologist that takes his time with you and gives you his personal touch, you'll find him in Dr. Ledbetter.

I and my spouse have been a patient of Dr. Robert Ledbetter for several years. I have never been disappointed in his handling of my cardiac care, nor that of my spouse. I have found Dr. Ledbetter concerned and caring. He is willing to spend time making sure he answers questions. He is careful to explain, and when necessary draws a picture or specifically shows on his computer any necessary point to aid our understanding. He has, when necessary called me personally to share details, instructions or to explain why changes are needed in plans regarding our care. He further makes use of technology associated with our pacemaker to keep tabs on any changes that may be needed to our care. I was most impressed in his efforts to change my recent procedure to the hospital that could best meet my needs. He spent many hours and much time, going above and beyond the usual in making sure my medical needs were met in an efficient manner. We most highly recommend Dr. Ledbetter and his staff.

This place has a ridiculous waiting time. Three appointments that averaged an hour and 15 minute wait time. Thats if your not there early. Then you have additional wait time once brought to examination room. They just cram in the patients with no regard for patient experience.

Wouldn’t go to this guy if you paid me. Did two tests and he went on vacation. No one would tell me the results until next month. My primary care doctor told me to go to a much more reliable cardiologist. Just tried to call to cancel and was put on hold for better than 5 minutes three times. Finally called back, said I couldn’t wait again. The woman on the phone became extremely rude because I wouldn’t play her waiting game. Wouldn’t go to this guy if you paid me. Dr Ledbetter seems to be a very caring and concerned doctor. That being said he drives a Maserati but can’t afford enough staff to answer the phones in a timely manner. I tried three times in two days to return a call from his medical assistant. I held all three times for OVER 10 minutes and my call was never answered. I tried several different times! The office staff are very helpful. The office is a clean and quiet. Wait time is minimal an the doctors are knowledgeable and caring. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Ledbetter and his staff truly care about the patients. They go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. My experience with Dr Ledbetter and his staff has been excellent. In fact, because of his thorough efforts to determine what in fact my heart problem actually was and then his timely response, I feel better than I have in years. He and his entire staff are kind, caring and make me feel like my health is important all of them.

All I can say is Thank You to Dr. Ledbetter and his very supportive staff. My husband was going through a very challenging time and Dr Ledbetter wasted No time in diagnosing my husband’s heart issues. As a wife and the caregiver sometimes you fill alone trying to help and be supportive, but every time I called about my husband’s symptoms the PA, nurses and office staff were very responsive. I even had to call the on call Doctor on a Saturday evening and Dr Ledbetter returned the call himself! I appreciate the time that Dr. Ledbetter spends with his patients and their partners. He listens to and answers your questions in layman’s terms! A special Thank’s to Dr. Ledbetter and his caring team.

I'm impressed. Dr. Ledbetter is exceptional at LISTENING. Unlike my previous Dr. he actually takes time to HEAR what I have to say. He explains test's, procedures and wants me to fully understand what procedures he intends to perform. This in my opinion is an essential part of understanding and trust. Highly recommend.

Dr. Ledbetter has been my husband's cardiologist for almost ten years. He has saved his life more than once. He cares about his patients and their families. He is, by far, the most compassionate doctor I have ever known. I am so blessed and grateful to have found him.

His office’s environment is full of happy boisterous efficient people. Dr Ledbetter himself is the kind of caregiver that I absolutely require-meticulously thorough about getting complete information about his patient before he makes treatment decisions. So far as I’m able to judge, his care decisions on my behalf have always been exactly right. The wait time may superficially seem excessive, but it’s a feature not a glitch. Dr. Ledbetter is the most caring doctor I have met. I go to him now as my mom used to go to him. My mom went to several cardiologists before seeing Dr. Ledbetter. He was the only one that had a gut feeling and went a step farther and found what was wrong with my mom. That one extra step is why I have faith in Dr. Ledbetter.

I have felt better about talking with a Doctor than Dr. Ledbetter. He makes me feel comfortable and I know he is helping me.

I just had a cardiac cath performed yesterday by Dr. Ledbetter and believe me I am the biggest wimp around. Dr. Ledbetter made me feel totally at ease and it was over before I knew it. I really like Dr. Ledbetter and am happy that I chose him as my cardiologist. He fully explains everything and why he feels a certain procedure is in your best interest and warranted, I feel safe in his care. I would and have recommended Dr. Ledbetter to others.

I like Dr. Ledbetter a lot-- which is the only reason I actually returned to his office for multiple visits. HIs office staff leaves more to be desired. I specifically cannot handle the girl who answers the phone. She is an absolute nightmare to deal with. I specifically will not be back to visit because of her bad attitude and her nasty customer service. You definitely do not want to deal with her if you have a heart condition:-/

Dr. Robert Ledbetter is a true professional, easy to talk to, cares about his patients and makes certain that you are fully informed and feel comfortable about your particular treatment or surgery. I can't say enough positive about the way I was treated at the Heart and Rhythm Institute both in advance of, and following my recent heart surgery. I would most certainly highly recommend him to anyone. He is a very kind and involved person- I felt comfortable each step of the way.

In a very scary time, Dr. Ledbetter was calming and educating. He listened to my fears and explained what happened, what we needed to do to fix the problem and made a plan for moving forward. The entire staff was courteous and professional and comforting. They ALL put the patient first. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr Ledbetter is a breathe of fresh air when it comes to doctors. I wish there were more caring physicians like him still around.

Dr. Ledbetter is so kind, thorough, and he truly cares about his patients. I had 2 procedures performed by him. He made me feel so safe.

I you need a good cardiologist in New Port Richey Trinity area this is him, he is the doctor with a good sense of caring, for his patient.

We met Dr. Ledbetter when my husband was in ICU with many medical issues. Dr. Ledbetter's care, concern and expertise is extraordinary. The only negative thing I could say is that he is a Georgia bulldog football fan and we're Gators.

My mother went to Dr. Ledbetter as a new patient. She was referred to his office from her primary care physician. When we went to see him for the first time he was very clear, precise, and to the point. He explained everything. He had her do some fun tests (echocardiograph, stress test) to see how her ticker was working. He discovered an issue with her heart. He explained how she needed an angiography to determine what was wrong. He was wonderful and took very good care of her. She has spent many years afraid of hospitals and doctors, because of a horrible experience with the last doctors. He has completely renewed her faith. At least in him. Dr Ledbetter is a wonderful Dr. He literally saved the lives of my mother and my husband. I recommend him to anyone needing a great cardiologist.

I was recently treated for bradycardia (causing me to feel fatigued easily). Dr. Ledbetter performed surgery to implant a pacemaker and said I would feel much better afterward. I couldn't be more pleased with the care, understanding and compassion that I experienced with Dr. Ledbetter and his staff both in his office and at the Heart & Rhythm Institute. I have a higher level of energy now after only a few days of implant. I know I made the right choice and I highly recommend Dr. Ledbetter.

My first visit with Dr. Ledbetter went great. He was very attentive and listened to my concerns. He was very thorough in his assessment and explanations of my condition . He made suggestions that none of my other doctors had made in regards to other preventative screening possibilities due to my cardio history. Also was more thorough in his physical exam. This is a wonderful cardiologist - There isn't enough space for me to write all the positive things I would like. During my gallbladder surgery the call went out for a cardiologist to the OR stat. My heart was in Afib and Dr Ledbetter responded and was able to correct things by shocking me twice. He literally saved my life. I have been his patient for the past 2+ years. I don't think you can find a more caring doctor than this. Staff is also wonderful.

Dr. Ledbetter seems to care about the health of his patients. However, if you go, plan to be there for an extended period of time. Staff is friendly and efficient but the office seems to be understaffed for the amount of patients. I had a very bad experience during and after a stress test that left me ill for the rest of the entire day. i.e. weak and vomiting. I mentioned to the tech, and the doctor that I was in a car accident and in a lot of distress but they did not listen.

I trust Dr. Ledbetter with my heart. He is concerned with the whole patient, not just the heart. He makes certain he is up to date with his patient's full history, medications being taken, other physicians being seen, etc. He makes sure the wait time is minimal. He cares about his patients, knows them, and has an excellent "bedside manner." He is thorough, addressing all concerns he or the patient might have. He listens!

Doctor is caring and detail oriented. Staff is horrible. Sourpuss #1 in reception and Sourpuss #2 at checkout. Med tech had nails more suitable for clubbing than med office and acted like a real space kadet. They will chase patients away over time. Poor customer service.Whomever does hiring needs to reassess their method.

Dr. Ledbetter is one very knowledgeable and compassionate cardiologist. He saved my life and continues to see that I do everything to stay healthy and live a long-life. He is always available if and when I should need him in an emergency. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs the best cardiologist.

He seems very nice but to quick to decide a treatment plan. He seems to want to use the shock method and something other doctors in this field said was totally unnecessary. Since I wasn't going to see him again I called to cancel my appointment, and the girl answering the call hung up on me. I don't feel I can recommend him to anyone...he seems closed to anyone else's opinion.
