Scheduled at 1.15..told dr is 45 mins behind..so i waited for 45 mins in car with the kid crying..after an hr i was told to wait for 30 more mins.. Worst experience. Never gona Schedul her for the future appointments. Is this the way to treat the patients..pathetic

Do not go to this doctor, she is awful and cause me a lot of pain and agony.

Once I saw the doctor the experience was good, but I still think it is unacceptable to wait an hour and a half after an appointment time to be seen. She is always late.

The best doctor she was so patience with me and very very nice doctor she is the best doctor. Gob bless her

Dr Swanson is the best Dr I have ever seen and I see many of them due to my issues i have to much complication during my pervious pregnancy she was there for me in every step she is amazing and caring Dr I have ever seen I rather wait 1 hr to see her than in and out with other dr she listen and explain everything and Patient with all my questions I just love love her i am so bless and great full that I find her . I am a social worker and tried to give the benefit of the doubt initially, but my frustration with Dr. Swenson's office has been ongoing, continuous and problematic. Specifically, I requested Dr. Swenson to prescribe a medication she had recommended during an office visit (which she was over 30 minutes late ) and was rushed. It took me over a month of repeated follow up to get that medication prescribed. Unfortunately I had negative side effects, and when I requested a medication change, I was once again in a powerless situation. I am still waiting to get this medication changed this time for almost a month. I have wrote a total of 9 messages via this portal requesting a meditation change and have even talked to a nurse, with no results. Basically the message I've got from working with this establishment is "we don't care". I have now got patient relations/advocates involved due to the severity of this medical neglect.

She is very unresponsive to messages asking questions about procedures & health issues. I am waiting almost a month for a response after many attempts to contact her. This is the third time this has happened in 7 months. Not remmended.

If you schedule, I recommend you call in advance to confirm your appointment time is still accurate/feasible or avoid completely if you expect your appointment time to reflect the actual time/duration of your visit. I saw dr Swenson once years ago and feel compelled to write about it now since someone just told me she was an excellent doctor. During my appointment, she argued with me about conducting a pap every year (my insurance covers it) vs every 5 years. Thank god I did not listen to her. Then she said she needed to look at my uterus so she scheduled an in office procedure. She wanted me to take a xanax Beforehand and I absolutely refused because even 1/4 of one will knock me out and I could not drive home. During the procedure, she was giggling and knocked something over. It was odd and unprofessional. I never went back and I am glad. Beware!

Dr. Swenson is very pleasant, knowledgeable and competent. But....the lack of being responsive to questions and concerns is very frustrating!!! I spent days trying to get the doctor's response about post menopausal bleeding. I finally was given an appointment after contacting the office three times over almost a week. Dr. Swenson performed a biopsy and pap and sent me for an ultrasound. She did get back to me via email with the pap and biopsy results, but I received the ultrasound results via email and that showed I have a rather large fibroid. I've been trying for over two weeks now to get a response from her as what the next step is. It is disconcerting to have a medical issue and not able to get answers. I've been told that the doctor has been out of the office. The same reason I got trying to get my initial appointment. I would like to continue using her as my doctor, but if this is an indication of what to expect if anything is out of the ordinary I may have to reconsider.

Dr. Swenson is amazing, the wait may be long but she is worth it.

She is one of the BEST Dr.s I’ve ever seen for Gynecology, and trust me I’ve seen every Dr. Dr. Swenson is so caring and attentive and she’s worth the wait.

I got to my appointment and was told she was running 20-30 minutes behind. After 45 min of waiting, I asked how much longer it would be because I had to get back to work. I was told a manager would come talk to me. She brought me back to her office in private and told me she was running an hour late. I explained that I had already waited 45 min and she said it would be at least another hour! How could Dr Swenson be running 2 hours behind? That is way to long to make a patient wait! When I made the appointment online, her schedule was wide open, I can't imagine it got that full within a matter of days. Dr Swenson didn't even contact me to apologize. Dr. Swenson has always been very helpful, informative, and knowledgeable. I have been a patient of Dr. Swensons for over 10 years.

I had waited for multiple months for an appointment. Finally, the morning of the appointment, I got a phone call that she had to cancel it and I should call back to reschedule. When I called they said she was booked out for another month and made me wait at least 4 weeks for my new appointment. When I finally came, the doctor was running 30-50 minutes behind. I finally saw the doctor, which was a horrendous experience and promptly left.

I had an appointment with Dr Swenson and was told there would be a 20-30 min wait because she was behind. After 45 min I asked how much longer it would be. I was then told a manager would come talk to me. She took me back to her office and told me it would be another hour at least. I was very upset because that is ridiculous, not to mention she secretly told me. What about all the others waiting, they should have been told they had another hour of waiting as well!

I think she has too many patients. She was rushing around the office and appeared very scattered. She is not on top of what her patients need and is not thorough. She was unavailable when I had an emergency and the office did not know how to handle it. She was a referral from my oncologist so I would have thought she would be able to handle my situation and given me the proper amount of attention.

I had a difficult time getting a reply from her/her office staff on an issue I called and messaged about. This went on for about 2 months. This was very frustrating and stressful. Otherwise when I did meet with her, she was professional,caring and explained things to my satisfaction.

Dr. Swenson is very knowledgeable and friendly. She is warm but still very professional. I would recommend her to anyone in the future. She did a great job with my IUD removal and placement of a new one.

The best OBGYN I have ever had. Caring, professional and smart. You feel like you matter and not just another patient. I am so glad I found her after searching 4 years for a new doctor.
